It Started With a Camping Trip

Joe Wallis is a man who loves the outdoors. He’s also a man who loves good food.

So one fateful camping trip, he decided the same old thing just wasn’t going to cut it anymore. Not that there’s anything wrong with a hot dog roast or tin foil dinner, those staples have earned their place in the camping food rotation. It just seemed like there was so much more potential; after all, what’s a camping trip without a fire burning in the middle of camp? And why shouldn’t that fire also cook your food?

So Joe started to learn new ways to cook outdoors. Before long, it became an obsession. As much as he loves camping, he just couldn’t get out enough to really perfect the art of fire cooking, so he did the only logical thing: built a fire pit in his backyard.
